Author Retreat Giveaway – Terms and Conditions

1. Sponsor

The "Author Retreat Giveaway" ("Contest") is sponsored by WBC Vacations, Raeanne Lacatena, Inc. (“Sponsor”). This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Amazon.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States, aged 18 or older, except where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those of New York State. Void where prohibited.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins on [Start Date] at 12:00 AM EST and ends on [End Date] at 11:59 PM EST ("Contest Period"). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

There are up to five (5) entries available per person:

  1. Purchase Entry: Purchase a copy of The Integrated Entrepreneur and submit your order number at the designated opt-in page.

  2. Review Entry: Write and post a verified review for The Integrated Entrepreneur on Amazon, then submit a screenshot as proof of review.

  3. Instagram Entry: Follow both @WBCVacations and @RaeanneLacatena on Instagram, then submit a screenshot as proof.

  4. Social Sharing Entry: Share the Contest post to your Instagram page or story and tag @WBCVacations and @RaeanneLacatena.

  5. Tagging Entry: Tag 5 friends in the comments of the Contest post on Instagram.

All entries must be submitted by the Contest end date to be eligible. No purchase is necessary to enter. Participants may enter the Contest by sharing the post or tagging friends without making a purchase.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram within five (5) business days of the Contest closing. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 48 hours of the initial notification, the winner forfeits their prize, and an alternate winner will be selected.

6. Prize

The prize consists of 4 nights/5 days at WBC Vacations’ AirBnB property starting at 4pm EST on November 4, 2024, ending on November 8, 2024 at 10 am EST located in Williamson, NY. Address will be disclosed to the winner only. Winner may bring one guest for a total of 2 people in the home. Winner must sign a rental agreement to stay. The stay is subject to property availability and must be booked within [time period] after the winner is notified. The winner is responsible for transportation to and from the property and any incidental costs. Prize is non-transferable. 

The winner is required to:

  • Share daily Instagram posts or stories during their stay, tagging both @WBCVacations and @RaeanneLacatena.

  • Failure to comply with this requirement may result in forfeiture of the prize.

7. Publicity

By entering the Contest, participants agree to allow the Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and Instagram handle in any promotional material, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The winner also agrees to share content from their stay as outlined in Section 6.

8. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest should any virus, bug, unauthorized intervention, technical failure, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control corrupt the administration or security of the Contest.

9. Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, directors, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with their participation in the Contest or their acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

10. Disputes

Any disputes arising out of or related to this Contest will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in New York State. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York.

11. Privacy

The Sponsor will collect personal data from participants solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and will not share this information with third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest and winner notification.

12. Acknowledgment

By participating, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms and Conditions and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
